#1: Cutting the piece in half
First things first: Let’s review how to cut tape in hair extensions. To get ultimate coverage around the front of your hair, carefully cut the tapes in half to create a smaller bond. This is perfect for those areas which are prone to being blown in the wind or moved when styled. Includes around the ear and forehead.
#2: Shape your ends using a feathering technique
ZALA Tape Extensions are double drawn to ensure the same thickness from top to bottom. For our customers who are after a more layered look, feathering the ends with sharp salon scissors will ensure healthy ends and ultimate blending.
